My birthday celebration!!!

Yesterday I turned 31!!! Lord, I am getting old. We were stuck in the house for a good portion of the day because of the ice and all the schools were canceled but that night we went to Japenese Palace. Kenzie was terrified. She kept saying, "Fire, fire...Mommy it scary." She wouldn't touch her food either because she said it was scary, even though it was just chicken. Reagan had a blast. She thought it was the coolest things she had ever seen. They are sooooo different. The picture of me holding up the quilt is from a lady at work. It is picture of the girls and Erley that I had given her. I was thrilled when she gave it to me. It is something I can cherish forever. I LOVE it!!!

Reagan's First Slumber Party!!

It's official!!! My baby girl is growing up. She went to her first slumber party this weekend and had a blast; although she was exhausted the next day because she had stayed up until 1:30 a.m. the night before. The theme was Hannah Montana (of course) and they held a rock concert for Shannon and Rodric (the parents).

The other picture is of Reagan doing a cheerleader stunt at one of our games. Shoot me NOW!!! They also had a step show that night and I had to hold both of the girls from running in the middle of the floor to join them. I will be devestated if they turn out to be CHEERLEADERS!!!

Button's (Kenzie) Birthday Party

We had a good time at her party Saturday. Well at least everyone did but the birthday girl. It was a little chaotic for her. If you know Kenzie, you will understand. I asked her if she had a good time and she said, "No Mommy, me not like that." :(

Anyway, I think the other kids enjoyed it and it was good seeing everyone. We took all of her gifts and Erley and I spend most of the day Sunday rearranging the girls rooms. Kenzie's room is officially a toy room now and they will share Reagan's room. I was very sad because we took the crib down but we are not using it anymore. Oh well, just gives more of a reason to have ANOTHER ONE!!! :)

Kenzie's Birthday Xmas Eve 2008

New Year's Eve

Erley and I went to the Star's game and then to Victory Park in Dallas for New Year's Eve. We hung out with Jenn which is nice since we never see each other anymore. We had a lot of fun.

Here are some more pictures of the girls in their church dresses. We had a performance that day. Melissa and I are in charge of the "Carpenter's Kids" which is the singing group of ages 2-6. We definitely have our hands full with that but I love it. Can't really speak too much for Melissa on that one. Anyway, the first picture is of them getting ready for church. I also added some pictures of them when we went to see the Backyardigans. We had a blast and they loved. Reagan was upset with me because I told her NO about something. GOD FORBID!!! Look at that expression. The last picture is of me and Jenn one night.
